Alum Named NABJ's 2019 Student Journalist of the Year

Congratulations to alum Allana Barefield, who was named the National Association of Black Journalists 2019 Student Journalist of the Year. We are so proud of her and representing our program. The Xavier University of Louisiana graduate is the second SJI alum to earn this honor.
